One of the Amazing men I have had the opportunity  to listen to is Rev’d Kanye Kolade. A dynamic Speaker, Incisive Author, Success Coach Expert,  Publisher and Senior Pastor of a dynamic Church. He’s the CEO of the Destiny Booster International,his books, include, among others, Gems From the Secret Place, Winning Attitudes For Life’s Battles, Discover Yourself and Succeed, Your Gift Will Pay Your Bill, When Success Is Your Decision and The Greatest Secrets Of Success. We are much privileged to have him as our visitor of the Month. In this interview, he speaks on the ancient principles of success. Let’s take the ride with him! Enjoy.

Can we meet you, Sir?

Francis Kanye Kolade is an author, a publisher and inspirational teacher. He is the CEO of Destiny Booster International, a success, motivation and peak performance organization committed to helping people and organizations make maximum impact and reach their zenith. He is devoted to learning, living and teaching scriptural success principles to help people achieve an enduring success. As a dynamic pastor, he oversees Wordlife Envoys Church, a growing network of churches committed to raising Kingdom envoys. He is sought after in conferences and seminars across the country. His many life – transforming books and messages on  the Church are also in high demand. He lives in Ibadan, Nigeria with his beloved wife and promising children.

Our Focus this Month is on Success, you have written a number of books on Success Principles, how will you define success?

Success is the progressive accomplishment of a God-given goal.

Some people think success is not meant for them, what do you think sir?

What a man will become starts from his inside. For someone to fall for the lie of the devil that success is not meant for him is to be grounded in life. God has not created anyone to be nobody. Everyone He created is meant to be somebody. To be successful in life, you must believe you can.

Some have tried many times without hitting it, what is your piece of advice?

Big shots today were small shots yesterday who kept shooting. Persistence is one of the greatest secrets of success. Trying times are not the times to stop trying, but to keep trying. If you don’t give up, you will ultimately succeed. The secret of success is to keep at it.

What is the difference between success and failure?

Success has to do with the pursuit and accomplishment while failure has to do with quitting. Everyone God created has the capacity to succeed. A man is a failure when he quits trying. And you know what? Failure is a compulsory course in the School of Success. If you are not failing, you are not growing.  Failure is the last step to success. Failure is meant to be a temporary event. It is only quitters that ultimately fail.

What are the qualities that make people Successful?

 Qualities that help people succeed include:

• Positive attitude

•  Integrity

•  Diligence

• Team spirit

• Faith

• Stickability

• Skill

• Learning

• Right company among others.

Can everybody succeed?

Success is meant for everybody. Don’t ever believe the lie that only a few are destined to succeed. If anybody can, then you can!

In your journey to success Sir, how have you been able to handle challenges that come along the way?

Challenges are the food of champions. If you don’t like challenges, you don’t like success. I have faced and still facing challenges because there are different devils for different levels. But what helped and still helping me are faith in God, positive attitude towards difficulties, persistence, focus on where I am going not what I am going through, passion for my mission, building a team, and so on.

What is final advice to the regular visitors to my blog?

Dr. Felix Duyilemi is a blessing to this generation. I have known him for some time and I can recommend him and his work for anyone who desires to be unstoppable until success smiles on him. Keep reading from him and seek the opportunity to listen to him live. You can never remain the same.

Success is a journey, not a destination. You never arrive in success. You must continue to break your own record because you have only yourself to compete with. God bless you richly.
